How often do you stand in front of the mirror and really look into your own eyes?
Have you even ever done that??
Really making eye contact with yourself makes such a big difference in how you feel about yourself.
And taking the time to look yourself in the eye means you are willing to see into your soul, who you really are, your happiness, your disappointments and everything else.
What do you see?
Take a moment to look at yourself in the mirror. Really look. Look straight into your eyes. Not just a quick glance.
What do you see?
How do you feel looking at yourself directly in the eyes?
Because that’s what other people see when they are looking at you.
So what are you expressing with your eyes to anyone look into them?
This is a super powerful exercise.
Start spending time looking at yourself in the eye. Dead in the eye. Serious eye contact. And FEEL what comes up.
And if you feel compelled to, journal it.
It’s a great start to true self-awareness and self-acceptance.
